How to find your IP address - Public and Private

An IP address (or Internet Protocol address) identifies each networked computer and device on a network. When computers communicate with each other on the Internet or a local network, they send information to each other’s IP addresses.
Finding your IP address is never been so easy with the newer systems today. There are two IP address, public and private.Public ip is your address over the internet, private ip is your address over LAN.
To be able to find your Public IP address, just go to google and make a quick search by typing "what is my ip" and you'll find too many sites giving your public address in an instant. One of this site is whatismyip.com. For private ip, run command prompt and type "ipconfig" and enter. Look for the value under the IPv4 address.
